The MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro is a mini PC with the same AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor found in the EliteMini AI370 mini PC that MINISFORUM launched a few months ago. But the new model stands out for a few reasons.

Instead of two M.2 2280 slots for PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage, it has three. Instead of 32GB of LPDDR5x-7500 onboard memory which is not user upgradeable, it supports up to 96GB of user-replaceable DDR5-5600 RAM. And there’s an OCuLink port for external PCIe 4.0 x4 connections.

MINISFORUM introduced the AI X1 Pro during CES 2025 and the company hasn’t announced how much it will cost or when it will be available yet. But a product page gives us a pretty good idea of what it looks like and what kind of features to expect.

The company is also the latest to add two features that are becoming increasingly common on mini PCs: a fingerprint sensor on top of the case for quickly logging in with a tap of your finger and a Windows Copilot button on the front for quickly launching Microsoft’s AI assistant features.

Some other features include two USB4 ports with support for 40 Gbps data transfer speeds and two built-in noise-cancelling digital microphones. There’s also an integrated power supply, which means you don’t need an external power brick to plug the PC into a wall jack, you just need a simple power cable that plugs directly into the computer.

While MINISFORUM hasn’t revealed details about all of the computer’s ports, images posted to the company’s website show what appear to be two Ethernet ports and at least two video outputs on the back as well as two USB Type-A ports and a headset jack on the front and SD card reader on the side.

Pricing, availability, and more details (including physical dimensions) should be announced closer to launch.
