ASRock Industrial is launching a new line of mini PCs powered by Intel Arrow Lake-H processors. The NUC Ultra 200 BOX with support for up to 96GB of RAM, and up to three storage devices (two M.2 SSDs and one 2.5 inch drive), while the NUCS Ultra 200 BOX is a slightly smaller model that lacks the 2.5 inch drive bay.
Each model will be available soon with a choice of Intel Core Ultra 5 225H or Core Ultra 7 255H processors, which means there are four configurations available at launch… or six if you count the motherboards: ASRock will also sell the 4×4 boards that power the computers as standalone products for folks that don’t want or need a fully assembled system.
Each of the new computers has two SODIMM slots for dual-channel DDR5-6400 memory, and three M.2 slots (two for storage, one for a wireless card):
- 1 x M.2 2280 M-Key PCIe Gen 4×4 (SSD)
- 1 x M.2 2242 M-Key PCIe Gen 4×4 (SSD)
- 1 x M.2 2230 E-Key PCIe x1, USB 2.0 (wireless card)
By default that E-Key slot is populated with a WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 card.
Ports include:
- 1 x Thunderbolt 4
- 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (with DisplayPort 1.4)
- 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (4 x on the NUCS Ultra Box 200H)
- 2 x HDMI 2.1
- 1 x 2.5 GbE LAN (2 x on the NUCS Ultra Box 200H)
- 1 x 3.5mm audio
- 1 x DC power input
The NUC Ultra BOX 200H series systems measure 117.5 x 110 x 49mm (4.63″ x 4.33″ x 1.93″), while the shorter NUCS Ultra BOX 200H models are only 38mm (1.5 inches) high. Both computers have a fan inside the case for active cooling.
