The new Lenovo Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 14″ is a convertible laptop with a 14 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS LCD touchscreen display featuring up to 300 nits of brightness, support for up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 128GB of eMMC storage or up to a 512GB SSD.
Powered by either an Intel Core 5 or Core 7 processor, the laptop is designed for the education market. But it’s got the kind of hardware that makes it a premium laptop by Chromebook standards (or a mid-range laptop by any other standards).
In addition to a relatively powerful processor compared to the chips found in most Chromebooks, this convertible notebook also features a backlit, spill-resistant keyboard, a 5MP webcam with a privacy shutter, a fingerprint sensor, and support for Bluetooth 5.3 and up to WiFi 7 connectivity.
It’s also compatible with a USI pen for pressure-sensitive input, and features USB Type-C ports with support for charging, video, and data.
