The MINISFORUM UN100P is a small desktop computer with a 2.5 GbE Ethernet port, two HDMI ports, and support for up to two storage devices thanks to an M.2 2280 slot for PCIe 3.0 NVMe storage and a 2.5 inch bay for a hard drive or SSD.

It’s also a relatively inexpensive computer thanks to its cheap, low-power processor options. MINISFORUM is offering a model with an Intel N100 Alder Lake-N processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of solid state storage for $179 or a model with an Intel N150 Twin lake chip and a 512GB SSD for $219.

There’s not much difference between those processors: while Intel uses a new code name for its “Twin Lake” chips, they’re based on the same architecture as Alder Lake-N processors that ahve been around since 2023. Both chips are 6-watt quad-core processors with Intel UHD integrated graphics, but the N150 chip supports CPU and GPU frequencies that are up to 200 MHz and 250 MHz faster than the N100, respectively. In terms of real-world performance, expect a very modest impact, if any.

Overall the new computer looks a lot like the MINISFORUM UN100D and UN100L that launched last summer, but with some modest changes to the port arrangement and with support for use-replaceable DDR4-3200 memory instead of onboard LPDDR5-4800 RAM.

Other features include support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, a microSD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, and five USB ports: two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps), two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbps), and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (5 Gbps).

The computer supports up to three displays if you use the USB-C port for video output as well as the two HDMI ports.

The MINISFORUM UN100P measures 127.5 x 112.4 x 39.9mm (5″ x 4.4″ x 1.6″).
