For a third straight year, the Padres have sold out their season ticket inventory and set a franchise record for season ticket memberships, the team announced Thursday morning.

All remaining tickets for 2025 will be available on a single-game basis. Those tickets go on sale to the public on Feb. 4, with season ticket and waitlist members and select group and suite clients granted access to a presale on Jan. 29.

Limited tickets also remain available for Padres FanFest on Feb. 1 at Petco Park.

The record season ticket sales comes on the heels of the team raising season ticket prices a fourth straight year despite shedding some $90 million from last year’s opening day payroll projection. The hike for 2025 was relatively small compared to previous years: 3 percent weighted average across the board after increases of 20 percent in 2022, 18 percent in 2023 and 9 percent in 2024.

Before this trend, the Padres did not raise season ticket prices from 2017 through 2021, though fans were barred from games in 2020 and capacity was limited at the start of 2021 as the country pulled out of the COVID pandemic.

The Padres have been to the postseason in three of the last five seasons, reaching the NLCS in 2022 and the NLDS in 2024 via 93 wins, the second-most in franchise history.

The demand for Padres tickets is not only reflected in season ticket sellouts despite the increase in price, but also in overall attendance.

The Padres ranked fourth in average attendance in 2024 (41,117), third in 2023 (40,389), fifth in 2022 (36,931) and third in 2021 (27,061).
